I am the face and photographer behind the lens at Laurie’s ShutterFlutter Photography and Art. I take pride in creating artwork for your family. I appreciate the time you are taking to view my work.
My goal is to create a piece of art you can display in your home. Your art can be a wall portrait, a keepsake folio box, or the perfect album that tells your story. Art that will be cherished for years to come. Aside from creating physical products from your images, I want to create an experience that is professional and fun.
By limiting the number of clients I photograph each month, I can focus on you and your family.
Quality is considered more important than quantity. If you are looking for a disk of hundreds of images, I’m probably not the photographer for you. But if you are looking for a few exceptional images to grace your walls, we might be a good fit to work together.
I don’t just take pictures and hand you a disk. At our consultation, we discuss your goals and what type of products you are interested in. During your session I walk you through the process. I will lightly direct you, pay attention to the details, and determine the best lighting conditions.
After your session, we meet again for a relaxed ordering appointment to view your proof images. I will guide you through choosing the best images for the artwork you purchase. Once you have decided on your favorite proof images, each image is hand-edited to create a piece of art you would be proud to display. Those images are then sent to a professional lab to produce the final art for your home. Lastly, your artwork arrives. Hang your finished art (or display your album or folio) in your home, and smile, knowing we have created memories that last a lifetime.

Your initial consultation lets you tell me your vision for your photographs. I will strive to capture your vision during your session.
Formally educated in photography, digital retouching, and graphic arts.
Professional cameras, lenses, and lighting. I can produce properly exposed and color correct photographs.
I use professional editing software. I don’t just slap a filter on your images, and call it done. I hand edit each and every one of your final choices. I maintain natural skin tones, proper density and contrast.
Our studio is beautiful and functional. It includes a lifestyle bedroom and living room and a large shooting area big enough for extended families. We are not limited to studio sessions only, we also provide outdoor location sessions.
My photography style leans more toward timeless or classic then trendy because I want you and your family to enjoy these images for generations to come.
You will see all product pricing at your consultation, and you will be emailed a copy of the investment guide after your consultation so you can take the time to look over everything prior to booking your session.
