A family portrait session is an excellent opportunity to capture the special bonds between family members in a beautiful and lasting way. Images from your family session will be kept and treasured.
Choosing a location that reflects the family’s personality—whether it’s a favorite park, their backyard, or a cozy indoor space—adds a personal touch. Many families coordinate their outfits for a cohesive look, while others embrace individual styles to highlight their uniqueness.
Minimal props are used for family sessions, usually a backdrop and something to sit on. You are welcome to bring your own props. Sessions may take place at the studio in or at an agreed upon location* in Lester Prairie or surrounding areas.
What to bring:
Family Sessions: Only includes parent(s) and their maternal, paternal, or adopted children living in the same household. Does not include extended families living in the same household.
Extended Family Sessions: Includes parent(s) and maternal, paternal, or adopted children living in the same household, adult children with their spouse and children, Grandparents, etc.
**Outdoor location sessions: Outdoor sessions are not offered from November to March. Outdoor session are depended on weather, and will be rescheduled if rain, wind, or excessive heat is forecasted. Additional fees apply for locations further then 15 miles from the studio. Fee is .55 per mile. Client must cover fees associated with your chosen location including entrance, parking fees, and permit fees.
In order to guarantee a date on my schedule, the session reservation fee and a signed contract is due at booking (links will be provided via email). The session reservation fee is deducted from the final price of your collection. Please note: All sessions are booked on a first come first serve basis. Date/time slots will be available for other clients to book until the session reservation fee, and the contract are completed.
Session is in our front lifestyle room – changes seasonally. Most economical option.

*This covers the time and talent of the photographer only. Printed products and digital files are not included in this fee. Every client gets to choose what products they would like to display in their home. We offer a wide range of products including wall art, albums, folios, gift prints and digital files. We will go over pricing and products available prior to your session at your free consultation.
For those who want digital files only we now offer all-inclusive family sessions. Sessions include the session fee and a set amount of digital files. We will capture a combination of posed and candid shots.
Petite Session – $275 (plus tax):
approximately 20 minutes, 10 digital images, one location
Standard Session – $400 (plus tax):
approximately 30 Minutes, 20 digital images, one location
Deluxe Session – $500 (plus tax):
approximately 45 minutes, 30 digital images, multiple spots at one location, clothing change if desired.
Ultimate Session (Outdoor/Location Only) – $700 (plus tax):
approximately 60-90 minutes, 40-50 digital images, $100 print credit. Multiple spots at one location, clothing change if desired.
*Covers the additional time photographing and editing. Does not include any additional images. Note this is not a full family session but adds 2 to 3 family proof images to your gallery. All you have to do is fill out the Consultation Request Form and we can work out a time for your portrait consultation. All sessions require a non-refundable deposit. Deposits are a way for people who would like to work with me to show good faith and commitment. The deposit amount is $50 and must be paid when booking your portrait session. This deposit will be applied towards the total payment for your final service. The remaining balance is due before the start of your session. Cash only if you choose to pay the day of your session.
After your deposit is paid, you will be sent a link to the portrait contract and a questionnaire (if doing a phone consultation, otherwise we go over everything your in person consultation) once completed your time and date will be added to the schedule.
